Refunds/ Cancellations / Missed Classes & Withdrawals
If Denver Field Hockey Club (DFHC) has to cancel a program, you will receive a full refund.
If you have to cancel after signing up for a program, prior to the start date, DFHC will provide you with a 100% credit (good for three months) to be applied toward another program or provide a 100% refund if you have to cancel for medical reasons.
No refunds or credits can be given after the program begins
If an individual misses or must drop out during a program for medical/family emergencies, classes may be made up where space is available. All credits are nontransferable.
Camp deposits (to secure camp sessions) are nonrefundable after June 1.
Missed Classes: No refunds will be given for missed sessions, regardless of the reason for the absence.
Withdrawals: In cases of withdrawal, DFHC will charge a $50 cancelation fee. The remaining prorated balance, as determined by the number of classes remaining in the session at the time 0f withdrawal, will be refunded.
DFHC reserves the right to end or cancel any individual class enrollment at its sole discretion for any reason.
Closures/ Inclement Weather Policy
Occasionally, DFHC must cancel or restrict hours of operation due to weather or other unpredictable non-weather events (aka, “acts of God”). Due to the unfeasibility of rescheduling large enrollments, make-up classes will not be scheduled and refunds/account credits will not be issued in these instances.
In general, we will cancel due to snow on the same schedule as local schools. We will notify parents via the RainedOut text alert system and social media as far in advance as is feasible. We cannot contact families individually in these cases.
This website does not contain the entirety of terms you may be subject to, or agree to, when you engage with a DFHC program. You may be presented with additional terms related, but not limited, to: payment, enrollment, makeup sessions, event scheduling, and so forth. These additional terms may contain restrictions or requirements not mentioned here and may be in the form of signed or printed registration packets. If other terms are presented to you, those terms in combination with the content of this website describe your full agreement with DFHC.
Additionally, all participants in DFHC activities must have the Waiver completed and signed by a parent or guardian before taking part in any program or activity.
Updates: We may update this set of policies from time to time without notice.
