Club Fees & Requirements

From June 1, 2019, DFHC will require a $50.00 club membership fee. Every effort is made to keep club costs to a minimum.  The membership fee is determined by practice hours and the related cost of facility rental, coaching fees, and various overhead costs including insurances, administrative costs registration with US Field Hockey, accounting, etc.


All Club Members MUST:

1.  All DFHC members must be a CURRENT member of USA Field Hockey.  You must designate DFHC as your home club.   Join USA Field Hockey here   Players will be required to provide proof of membership. 

2.  Be insured by a medical carrier.

3.  Submit a completed registration form, waiver and the player membership fee


Refunds

Club membership fees are non-refundable and final. DFHC will not refund any portion of your registration fee for any reason. 


Important Information Regarding Age Group Classification

USA Field Hockey determines a players age group based on the players birth year - not school grade.

Per USA Field Hockey: "An athletes age on December 31 of that given year determines what age group the athlete will be in for the following year.  For example, if the athlete is 15 on December 31 and turns 16 on January 1 they remain in the U16 division.  Again, the age of the athlete on December 31 determines their age grouping for the following year."
